LUKE on comics.
just finished house of m and all i have to say about it is that it is blooody awsome.it is better than civil war and surpasses its many other competitors with it's exciting and invigorating plotline. there are less characters which therefore makes the story easier to follow. the potential of the strange mutant girl layla (at least she was strange to me as before this i just really had no idea what she could do, althouhg in civil war xmen universe i seemed to get the idea that she could see the future) is revealed and is is shown to all the world as a powerful telepath who isnt a telepath as emma frost describes her. in house of m uncanny x-men, captain britain (yes this is a very corny name that i am displeased with and one opinion i have is that britain isnt the kind of place you would associate a serious superheroe matter with, well at least to me) is shown to be a true and powereful heroe who has power that i think is almost equal to that of cyclops. luke cage is also a proven heroe who is a born leader with the ability to inspire saps everywhere. this is a joke you would get from reading house of m, if you wont read it because of what i have written then read it for the understanding of this joke and maybe youll get drawn in

Brilliant review Luke. Can not agree with your comments on good old Captain Brit though- when a smart young guy like you has no pride in the country he lives in thats whe we REALLY need heroes.

ReplyDeleteTry LONE WOLF AND CUB in the LRC, skip the terrible movie adaptations though.
ReplyDeletemr t. there is nothing wrong with my views on the fact that britain is a terrible setting for a hero. however the britain portrayed in amercican comics and what-not is really a very outdated one and i would have to admit that modern britain is an ok place to put a superhero. but the name, captain britain, is a terrible one. even you mr t, cannot disagree with that
